Chapel Island and Eskasoni, NS

The tradition of sharing information was apparent during our stops at Chapel Island and Eskasoni since many of those that visited, later returned with friends and family.

Both health centers were full of great information, including one brochure that explains that women, as the givers of life, have a responsibility to maintain their well-being. All who came aboard were appreciative of our education campaign and a good number of women came seeking the phone number to make their appointment.

Visitors of all ages showed sincere interest in how simply knowing one’s body can lead to early detection.
